Videography Packages

For us to make a film of your big day there are two things to consider;

  • What would you like.
  • How much do you want to spend.

Rather than quote complicated packages we prefer to keep things simple. We charge by the hour at a cost of £150 per hour for the first 3 hours then £75 an hour for as many extra hours as you would like us to film for. If you would like a short highlights clip to a track of music add £100 or this is included free if you book more than 4 hours. This clip is hosted online and is available for upload to smartphones, tablets or computers.

So an average wedding day covering from the guests arriving through to the end of the speeches would be £825 including a highlights montage.

Filming an average church ceremony including the guests arriving and post ceremony photoshoot at the church £425

—————————————————-

Filming all day starting with the preparations through to the first dance and a little of what follows (until 9:30pm) including a highlights montage. £1100

—————————————————-

Filming from the guests arriving through to the first dance and a little of what follows (until 9:30pm) including a highlights montage. £950

—————————————————-

Included is all the editing and what we film is up to you. So you could include all the obvious elements; arrivals, ceremony, speeches, drinks party, photoshoot, location detail shots, cake cutting, first dance, evening party but also the brides preparations, ushers lunch, fireworks, sky balloons, interviews with family members and guests; even a maryoke (needs to be pre planned and thought put into the time needed). The choice is yours. We cover Cornwall and West Devon but are happy to quote to cover your big day in any area.

All filming is carried out in 4K Ultra HD or Full HD using multiple cameras wherever possible.

We work unobtrusively to collect all those special moments without disturbance to the proceedings.

Editing options

Documentary

The documentary style follows your day as it unfolds. This is the package to choose if you want as much of your day covered as possible. The format of your finished film follows the sequence of events as they happen. Titles first followed by shots of the church or venue (or preparations if you have chosen for us to film them), the guests arriving, the ceremony complete except for shortening the signing of the register and perhaps removing some of the verses of the hymns if they are long, confetti and photos after the ceremony, drinks party and more photos, detail shots of your reception venue and your grand entrance, all the speeches and the evening celebrations if you have chosen to include this. The finished length depends on the type of ceremony you have and how long the speeches are but for a rough guide expect around 100 minutes.

Plus points. Your film will include as much as possible of all aspects of your day.

To consider. While you will enjoy every minute your friends and family may find the length a little daunting.

Suggestion. To get the best of both worlds we suggest a highlights sequence set to one of your favourite music tracks. This is available for viewing online and for you to load onto a smart phone or tablet.

Cinematic

The cinematic style captures the essence of your day. We pick up on the events which tell the story and weave them into a film of a length to suit you (we find an average length is 20-40 minutes but the final choice is yours). We may use time shifting if it helps the story. While we would still film all the ceremony and all the speeches their content would be edited to use the most significant moments. The whole film can be available for viewing online and for you to load onto a smart phone or tablet.

Plus points. Your film will have a modern feel and will of a length to be enjoyed by family and friends. As a historical record we include both ceremony and speeches complete from a fixed camera position.

To consider. In order to reduce the length of the film we cannot include long sections of any part of your day such as the guests arriving and the photoshoot.

Bespoke

It used to be the case that weddings followed a set formula but times are changing. Often we see that there is a move away from traditional ceremonies and formal speeches. Bespoke is the option to choose if you feel that what we are offering with our two fixed options doesn’t quite match what you would like. Simply put tell us what you would like and let us create it for you.
